Two tree planting events coming up in which over 800 trees will be planted and we would love your help!
The “Ash” project are planting replacement tree species in a woodland near Folkestone and creating a woodland near Bicknor. Trees have been carefully selected in consultation with ecologists and the Woodland Trust and Forestry Commission to help retain the biodiversity that we will lose in Kent due to the loss of ash.
Both events are open to the public, tools, tea and lunch will be provided, all you need to bring is some boots, drinking water and a willingness to get stuck in! It will be also be an opportunity to see some badly affected woodlands and to learn more about what we can do in the future to protect our landscapes.
