Hythe Community Cinema would like to invite you to a special extra screening on 27th July of  “People’s Emergency Briefing”, to be shown in conjunction with local town and district councillors, and Hythe Environmental Community Group.

This film is based on a National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster in November 2025, this eye-opening documentary film features nine leading UK scientists and experts who share the latest evidence on what’s happening with climate and nature and its impacts on everyday national life including health, food systems, national security and the economy. After the film there will be a short, open discussion about what we can do and what it means locally.

Directed by Ben Long  in 2026 .  The film is 50 minutes in length.  We are setting aside 120 mins to include a pre-questionnaire and after the film a short, open discussion about what we can do and what it means locally with support from Hythe Environmental Community Group.
