Hythe ECG and Led by the Wild are again hosting two sociable and informative events identifying and learning about Moths in the beautiful woodland at Led by the Wild in Aldington.
Led by the Wild and Hythe Environmental Community Group are delighted to be once again hosting our two annual sociable and informative events identifying and learning about Moths in the beautiful woodland at Led by the Wild in Aldington.
Led by our expert guide Ian Roberts, these events are exceptionally popular, with limited numbers and so we suggest early booking to avoid disappointment! Tickets are FREE but need to booked via Eventbrite (see links below).
Evening Talk and Social: The evening of Friday 18th August will be an adult focused event 7.30 – 10.00 enjoying the moths, relaxing by the camp-fire, enjoying hot food, drinks, cake and roasted marsh-mallows. Young people welcome but we suggest this is not for younger children.
Family Event: The moth traps will be left overnight for a family focused moth discovery morning on the Saturday 19th 9.00 – 11.00. Children and families will be able to enjoy seeing what has landed over night as well as various moth and woodland fun activities in the wonderful Led by the Wild forest school, learning about these beautiful insects in their natural environment!
