I’ve had one of those charity doorstep collection bags delivered.
They only promise to donate a fixed amount to the charity no matter how much is collected and the rest is the collector’s profit. Clothes are worth much much more to the charity when given to the charity by hand. So, read this –http://www.charitybags.org.uk/charity-shops-versus-house-to…take your items to the shop of your choice and put your charity bag into the carrier bag box in your supermarket for recycling. Then tell your friends. You can use this for recycling any of the polythene bags that wrap magazines etc coming through the letter box.
