Recycling/Re-use How Can We Do More (free event but reserve a place at link below)

We will hear from Dan Welsh who, within the local council waste management team, is tasked with increasing our recycling rates. He will describe the different waste streams offered by the council and where they go to for recycling. Also, how we can help him in his mission.
We will also hear from Gemma Adams about the culture change needed, the barriers to change, the opportunities and the Hythe Environmental Community Group Guide to Recycling, where you can find it and how you can help keep it up to date as a key source of information for the local community to help improve local recycling/re-use rates.
