Our Electrical Waste Drop Off Point at 101 Hythe High Street on Saturdays between 9.30 and 1.00 has now been running since December 2022.  Small electrical items collected and around 1 tonne/month taken up to the recycling plant in Sittingbourne for reclaim of about 75% of all materials for re-use. Many items that arrive are working and useful. These are either donated to local charity shops for sale or now, as we have our own PAT Safety tester, appropriate items are donated to Hythe Food Bank and Rainbow for the homeless and those struggling financially.

Hoping to see you there with all of those electrical bits and pieces that never made it to the dump. If you would like to support this venture by volunteering to man the Drop Off, this is not an onerous task and you will not be doing it on your own.
